Conch fossils are a fascinating glimpse into the ancient world. These remains of marine creatures date back hundreds of millions of years and are scientifically known as chrysocolla. They belong to the cephalopod mollusk family and were prevalent during the late Cretaceous period, which saw the extinction of the dinosaurs. Today, these fossils are highly prized as valuable specimens for scientific research and collection. Our fossilized conch is a rare and unique piece that offers a glimpse into the past and makes a great addition to any collection.

Have you ever heard of “chrysanthemum stone”? This kind of thing sounds a bit mysterious, right? In fact, it is the fossilized conch, which belongs to the phylum Mollusca, Cephalopoda. Imagine, these fossils are 400 million years old! They first appeared in the Devonian period, when the chrysocolla diverged from the hornblende, and then in the Mesozoic era, from about 250 million years ago to 65 million years ago, the chrysocolla reached its peak. During that time, the Earth's oceans were virtually ruled by them, which is why the Mesozoic Era is also known as the “Age of Chrysocolla”. However, with the end of the Mesozoic Era, chrysocolla became extinct.
The formation process of fossilized conchs is quite unique. First, these creatures were buried in the ground after death, and after a long period of mineral precipitation, crystallization and geological changes, they eventually became fossils. These fossils were deposited as the earth's crust sank, forming sedimentary rocks. Then, the upward movement of the earth's crust allowed these rocks to be exposed along with the mountains, and then weathered, eroded and transported to the surface.
Fossilized conch can be used for chakra healing and meditation, and can correspond to the heart chakra in chakra healing. Fossilized conchs can be used to heal heavy memories and traumas from further back in time, especially from ancient times.
